New aspirants at ALLEN KOTA : Here are some tips

Hi my name is Nikhil, writing this post!
Well there are many things I'd have suggested, but I've to cut it short for some reasons

A) Mess food definitely won't be that good. Sometimes average, sometimes below average. But don't keep complaining about it. Success seeks sacrifice. Moreover you can order food eventually in case you don't like eating mess food. I used to order food at 3–4 am at early morning while studying.
B) Allen will start its course with an accelerated pace. You must have to match your pace accordingly. Sitting for continuously 6–7 hours is tiring but remember a gold ore is given extreme temperature to make it worthy in market
C) Always be consistent with your exams. Marks in Allen exams do matter. Especially in 2 ways. First, it will keep you motivated through out the journey and second, it will open your way to get into SRG batch. Allen here is quite partial. It gives 40% more resources ( tests + books + library access) to the students of SRG batch than the normal students. I was in SRG batch, and we were given a 1400 question yellow book of physics chapters which I found quite good. This is the test paper of SRG
and even if you don't make it to SRG, don't worry. Around 12 batchmates of mine who were not in SRG are getting 600+ in NEET (much more than me :p)
D) You'll face a lot of distractions in Kota . LOT OF DISTRACTIONS. (I can't elaborate much here :p) and you've to resist them smartly.
E) Now very important point. This is a bad habit I've seen in the students of coachings of kota. They popularise a particular teacher and start worshipping them. Your sole aim is to gain the knowledge, so stick to it. I've seen many students, enchanting like, SS sir is the god of Inorganic. If you haven't read from him, you're not going to ace inorganic. SKC is the Jesus of Organic and blah blah. Don't focus on these shitty talks. They are brainwashed and instead of utilising their time in studies, they waste it on buttering their teachers. Every teacher in allen is good enough to deliver you the concepts in a smooth way. All you've to do is to have faith in your teacher. Many new students come in the trap of old students and start feeling demoralized that their batch didn't get XYZ teacher. Let me be brutal honest, those students who keep discussing about the teachers through out the day end up getting their dreams shattered at the end of the day . There was a guy in my hostel, he often used to say, come and attend the class of physics in my batch, you'll end up scoring full in physics. He's getting 396 marks in NEET and repeating again. So I'd request you not to give attention to these irrelevant discussion about the teachers. When I was coming to kota, many of my friends adviced me to study organic from SKC, MK , Physics from DJ and AG and what not. I actually did not care about their advices and trusted on the teachers alloted to my batch. And in case you don't like your teacher for some reason, there's option of feedback given to all the students in every tests where they've to rate their teachers accordingly
